Manufacturing Training Interactive
Basic Soldering Module
Opportunity
Raytheon C3i in Largo, Florida desired to strengthen the internal development of their employees on the front line bench. Through the creation of a Manufacturing Engineering Training curriculum, employees from bench technicians to design engineers would be able to access training and development online in a self-paced study environment.
One of the larger needs was to re-design the current curriculum and procedures for component identification, application and basic soldering techniques.
Solution
A curriculum that involved a combination of self-paced learning, bench practice and live testing was created. Using online delivery, the self-paced portion of the training used video segments and animation graphics to teach the fundamental techniques of the assembly of the many components used in manufacturing. |
